Erin McLees

Erin McLees joined Cavanaugh & Thickens, LLC full time in August of 2024 after interning at the firm. Following her internship, she worked as a medical records coordinator, and in December of 2024, became a paralegal supporting our workers’ compensation and personal injury teams.
In her role as a paralegal, Erin enjoys talking with clients, answering emails, drafting and filing documents, and communicating with opposing counsel. She works closely with Attorneys Darcy Compton and Shea Brighthop to ensure that clients are getting the attention that they deserve while helping keep cases progressing behind the scenes.
Erin was inspired to become a paralegal because she’s always been passionate about and interested in the law. She has her associates degree in paralegal studies and will be returning to school to get a bachelor’s degree in business.
In her spare time, Erin enjoys going to the beach, watching football (specifically Carolina and the Bengals), reading, and spending time with friends and family.
