Erin McLees

Erin McLees joined Cavanaugh & Thickens, LLC full time in August 2024 after previously interning with the firm. Following her internship, she worked as a Medical Records Coordinator before transitioning to a paralegal role in December 2024, where she now supports the firm’s workers’ compensation team.

As a paralegal, Erin takes pride in building relationships with clients and helping them navigate the legal process. She communicates regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in each case while assisting with the preparation and filing of legal documents. Working closely with Attorney Nicholas Skorzewski, Erin helps ensure that clients feel informed and supported throughout their case while helping each matter continue to move forward efficiently.

Erin’s longstanding passion for and interest in the law inspired her to pursue a career as a paralegal, earning her associate degree in Paralegal Studies.

Outside of work, Erin enjoys going to the beach, watching football—especially the Carolina Gamecocks, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
