About Ashlyn Yount

Ashlyn Yount is a personal injury paralegal at Cavanaugh & Thickens, LLC. Ash graduated with her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina in 2024 and first joined the team as a file clerk. With a passion for learning, continuously finding ways to improve workflow, and striving to do her best, Ash eagerly accepted the opportunity to become a pre-suit paralegal. Today, she serves in both pre-suit and litigation, enjoying the opportunity to serve clients during every stage of the case.

As a paralegal, Ash enjoys building relationships with her clients throughout their case. She loves investigative case work and is motivated by overcoming the challenges that often arise in complex personal injury cases. On a day to day basis, Ash speaks with her clients, keeps up with their treatment, obtains initial documentation, prepares demand packages for insurance adjusters, and stays in contact with defense counsel throughout the litigation process. Ashlyn loves the variety her work brings each day.

Outside the office, Ash enjoys reading, watching documentaries, hanging out with her pups, trying new restaurants, scrapbooking and collaging, and writing poetry.
